Process One has implemented an
Environment Friendly operation.
We have taken the following steps, among others, to ensure minimal
environmental impact from our daily business operations:
• Recovery of harmful silver from our wastewater
discharge using DUAL silver recovery canisters, bringing our silver effluent
discharge to levels well below government guidelines
• Replacement of all fluorescent light tubes with half the prior total of
tubes using energy-efficient T-10 long lasting light tubes
• Recovery and recycling of all Single-Use cameras and batteries
• Recovery and recycling of plastic film cans
• We use very low 'replenishment rate' film processors and printers to
minimize waste effluent discharge and lower overall water use
• Implemented an energy-saving heating and cooling program to use much less
energy during our closed hours
• We have installed and operate a 'Smart' thermostat for further energy
consumption reduction
• Replaced all incandescent bulbs with energy-saving compact fluorescents
• Recycling of bulk boxes and plastic bottles used in our operation when
possible
• We use foam-free, re-used packing materials when we ship our customers
orders
• We use recycled paper products such as envelopes and copy paper whenever
recycled options exist
• We try ro minimized unnecessary document printing when appropriate
• We have greatly reduced our overall water consumption by switching to
washless closed-system FRSS print and film rinse
systems
• We have replaced older electronics, computers and monitors with
Energy-Star compliant devices

Process One - Environmental
Program
* In addition to being a wonderful printing system, our Fuji Frontier is also one of the most environmentally friendly labs in use today. The chemical system used by the Frontier is designed to operate at much lower "replenishment rates", meaning that less chemicals are needed to make your pictures. This results in less waste and lower overall environmental impact.
